Completely Custom
We are a design-and-build custom cabinet company. We work with builders, remodel contractors, architects, interior designers and individuals wanting to create only the highest quality kitchen, bath or custom space. The process begins with a design consultation and estimate. After an estimate is agreed upon, our design team begins molding your space with your vision. Then it's on to our construction and finishing teams. Finally, we can install and even do touchup and warranty repair.
Estimates
Our process begins with a design consultation and estimate. Choose the option that's right for you:
No Cost Estimates: To get a free estimate you can call, email or visit our showroom to provide the measurements of your space. Your measurements don’t have to be exact (we will make site visits and confirm them if we build your cabinetry). From there you will consult with one of our designers to select your building materials, styles, accessories, and hardware. We will then work up a preliminary design and bid at no charge to you. Designs and 3D renderings from this process can be viewed by appointment in the showroom.
Want to sketch out your ideas? Bring your sketch to our showroom and our designers will take it from there.
Nominal-Cost Estimates: If you prefer, we can visit your home to do the measuring for you. A nominal fee for our measuring time will apply. As above, designs informing your bid can be viewed by appointment in the showroom. If you decide to purchase your cabinetry with us, the fee will be credited to the final cost of the project.
Designs: Subsequent design-time, consultation with sub-contractors and hardcopy/digital designs are included in the comprehensive service we provide to our customers. If design-only services and products are desired before making your decision on who will build your cabinetry, they can be purchased for a nominal fee. Speak with a designer for details. In the event that you pay for these services and products up front, they will be credited to your job if we build your cabinetry.
Design
At Sullivan's, we do more than just build cabinetry - we are experienced, professional cabinet designers.
We work closely with our customers to develop a design for your project. Once you’ve decided to hire Sullivan's, you gain unlimited access to your very own designer/project manager. The next steps are to confirm site measurements, make design revisions, and coordinate with all relevant parties (architects, interior designers, decorators, electricians, plumbers, appliance dealers, countertop and tile folks).
In short, we work closely with you through the entire construction or remodel process and provide technical expertise where needed.
Styles
Frameless vs. Face Frame
FRAMELESS
In frameless construction, a tight reveal between doors and drawers creates a stream-lined contemporary look. It primarily differs from traditional face frame construction in that there is no cabinet face, allowing for very tight door and drawer clearances of no more than 1/8" reveal.
FACE FRAME
In traditional face frame construction, the frame of the cabinetry is visible. The "reveal" of the face frame will vary depending on how you choose to mount doors and drawers, which may be mounted in overlay or flush inset with the opening.
Decorative Accessories & Functional Elements
Sullivan’s offers many options that other local cabinet companies do not. Custom wood tops, utility pullouts, vent hoods, onlays, carvings, decorative feet, and radius work are just some of the possibilities. In addition, we offer only high quality Blum and KV hardware, as well as many other specialty cabinet hardware and accessories.

Custom Mouldings
Crown, base, decorative panel mouldings and onlays are specified during the design process, and if indicated, included in your bid. We can also sell mouldings separately by the linear foot, unfinished or pre-finished to match.
Finishing
Sullivan’s is one of the few local cabinet makers offering in-house, custom pre-finishing. Unlike many other finishes applied on site, we remove all hardware and finish in a climate and dust-controlled environment. The result is an exceptional, smooth, furniture-grade finish.
